Joystick/heli problem

I can't control any heli model in Beta 7 with my Dave Brown joystick box. The airplanes seem to work just fine.

Here is a response to the same question that you asked earlier:
Try matching these settings in the mapping area for your joystick or TX and the helicopters will fly...

Rudder same as Tail = 4
Elevator same as Nick = 2
Aileron same as Roll = 1
Throttle same as pitch = 3

Look closer at the channel asignments.
Helicopters use different assignments than airplanes.

Example:
Helis use pitch not throttle to climb.
Helis use Tail Rotor not rudder to turn.
So.... you'll have to assign joystick channels to them for the Heli's.

Using ch 1-4 for airplanes and 5-8 for Heli's meens you can keep both settings at the same time and not have to change anything.

Channel assignment follow up.

The chanels 1-4 DON'T have to match chanels 5-8.

That way you can have different assignments for heli and planes.
