Is there a version of FMS that works with a NTFS formatted disk in Windows XP Pro. I have a version on my computer that I used on a FAT 32 disk but it won't run correctly on the NTFS drive now?

there shouldn't be any problem with running the FMS from a NTFS disk on Windows XP. What is exactely the problem you are having?

Since re-installing FMS after re-installing windows the screen on FMS is very jerky and slow and the resolution seems much lower? It is so bad I can't use it at all

Does not sound like NTFS is your problem, how about checking your DirectX drivers and settings?

I have just downloaded the latest Direct X 9 driver and it is still the same? I am not usre what graphics card I am running as all it says is primary display driver?

you should reinstall the mainboard drivers for the agp-port and the drivers for your graphics card. Get the latest drivers from your hardware manufacturer.

Thanks Michael that's done it. It appears that the card drivers hadn't installed properly. I have re-installed them and it is working great once again. Thanks for all your help.
