Troubles with FMS on XP

Hello Everybody,

Since a week I try to get FMS running on my laptop. I didn't succeed yet. On my brothers laptop it was very easy!
I get following error:
It's a blue screen goming up writting that Windows is shutting down computer due to an error to protect hard disc for damage.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Laptop is a Sony Vaio PCG-FX702 with AMD Athlon

It could help if you tell us if it is just FMS alone that has the error, or if an interface is already connected. Tell us what interface and what you do before the crash. Thks

changed now in "Kompatibilität" to open the program with 256 colours. now it works. I guess it has to do with my grafic card, beeing not good enougth. However! it works now.
