Compatability with Windows XP - Help

Can someone please help me???
I have loaded the recommended version onto my computer. The problem is that I am able to fly for awhile and then my computer shuts down and goes to a blue "stop" screen. I then have to re-boot my system to get it back up. I have updated all of my Direct X drivers and have a decent video card. Could my video card be the problem or does someone else know another solution to this??? One more question..does anybody know if this program will affect network connections??? Help please

I would bet it is either your graphic card or your graphics card drivers. I am in a programing groups and those are the biggest issues with 3d games.
I am running this on Wix XP with no problems and have an ATI card.

I am betting you have an Nvidia card (or nvidia clone) as that seem to be the problem most people have in my programming group.

Play with your drivers. Get the newest, if that does not work. I have seen older drivers soemtimes help.
