Creating New Aircraft in FMS

Helo all. I am currently working on a new R/C tilt prop vehicle and wish to fly it in a simulator first. It will operate similar to a helicopter, actually more like the V-22 Osprey. My problem is where to begin to create the files necessary for FMS. I have use 3ds Max 5 and Autocad 2005 for the actual drawings. I have converted the 3ds file to the .x format. Now I am lost. HELP!!! I will post a pic or two of the model as soon as I figure out how to on this forum. If you to gressaero.com you will see the first prototype. I am working on the second one now.

There are a lot of documents on how to create an FMS model on .

You'll need to import files into Metasequoia LE (free) or save them with a "Direct3D .x file that contains only a mesh and no frame structure" according to Michael Moeller. There are other tips in the Model section of this board and some tutorial links. Also, check out the pardes.zip ParDesigner program for beta 7 models and the parconv.zip ParConverter for helping to convert beta 7 .par files to alpha 8 .pars.
