I recently learned about 3D glasses and I was wondering if anyone had tried to use them with FMS. It would appear that they work with programs that are based on Direct3D. If so, the realsim would be awesome!

Nope, I havent ever tryed to use them. But I do know that for the glasses to make the planes appear "off the screen" there has to be two blured images of the plane. (In affect).

It would take lots of work, but I cant say I wouldnt mind it =)

I have an Asus geforce video card. It came with the glasses. LCD shutter type. Worked fine with FMS. After a few days of playing with them they went back in the box. I haven't taken them out since.

I'm curious when you say they went back in the box. Were you dissatisfied with the 3D effect? did your eyes tire? was it easier or harder to fly FMS? I would appreciate your comments.
