Drivers and program integrity - Getting it together

Hello everyone,

Recently got the CLC Type 2 mini flyer Colco Thunderbird Helicopter with Cable. From all acounts you need a medal if you can get this machine to fly.

I decided to leave it in the box for now because I cannot afford spare parts.

I eventually found FMS, which will run on my computer, but I have to keep reloading it. The program crashes with the message refering to floating point, which I presume is computer jargon.

Apart from this it works with the keyboard for control inputs, but I am unable to have the cable/Colco controller recognised. I am using Windows XP. and I THINK I am lacking a suitable driver program.

Can anyone please provide any ideas for stabilizing the FMS program and getting the Colco controller working on it?

Upgrade a port, downgrade the operating system?

I suppose a lot of people with Windows XP will still have Windows 95 but how do you get Windows XP to "Create a partition and load Windows 95."

It is not an advanced flyers model, it's er budget.
