Throttle Idle

Any chance of a settng that prevents the Combustion engines stalling when you throttle back.

I use a twin analoge joypad to control my FMS planes but its really anoying that if i want to glide in its very dificult to throtle back to an engine idle.

On my real models i always set the throtle to idele when the sticks fully back - requiring trim to cut the engine

Because i dont have trim on my PC joypad instead i keep stalling the engine.

Alternativly just an engine restart key would do the trick.

You can adjust the throttle cut-off when you calibrate your joystick within FMS.

It asks you to move the sticks to the far corners. If you move the throttle to the extreme bottom, the motor will not cut off when you throttle back.

I'm having the same trouble with everything except heli's.

I use a Logitech 2 axis pad with separate throttle control(slider at the top). Even if I push the throttle control as far to each side as I can the planes still stall with anything under about 1/4 throttle. I tried clicking on "exp" to no luck either.

The throttle cut-off is adjusted during the 2nd part of calibration. To allow the throttle to shut down to zero you move the control slightly above center before the "return the sticks to center" phase of calibration. To prevent throttle shut down, move the control slightly below center during the 2nd phase of calibration.
