Models are affected by wind even with wind speed=0 and gusts=0.

I've tested this with the Stuka from rcsim.de: give full throttle on take-off, all other controls neutral. Plane will veer to the side (ok, might be prop wash). With wind direction of 270, a wing will touch the ground, with wind direction 0 it won't. Wind speed and gust speed are both set to 0.

This is caused not by wind but by engine torque. Change the direction of spin on the engine from left to right and it'll change your turn direction. I'd like an option of NONE in addition to LEFT and RIGHT as most of my models have thrust direction built-in to counter torque.

Negative: as I wrote, behaviour depends on the direction of wind, even when wind speed and gust speed are both 0. The plane veers in both cases, but to different extents.

This sounds really strange. I will have a look at this one. I hope I can reproduce this bug (or even better find the bug in the code ).

@ ggunners: What do you mean by "thrust direction built-in"? I could add a NONE option, but this makes physically no sense.

What I mean by thrust built in is that when building actual airplanes we usually shim the motor a few degrees up/down or left/right to adjust the thrust angle of the motor. On some of the lighter electric models the motor torque seems overstated. The model I created called Nelson SU-27 had so much engine torque that it was difficult to fly. A change in the MOTOR thrust angle would have countered the torque. Instead I used 2 MOTOR entries at the same location in the .par file to negate the torque. Having a NONE option would make that easier or perhaps a percentage of torque to dial it down a bit.

I only fly electrics, so It's tough for me to judge whether the torque is correct for fueled motors.
