Problems with alpha 8.1.

I´ve had before the fms 2.0 Beta 7, runnend at win98
very good an without any problems for a long time.
When I bought another PC, with one of the best configuration
in these days (Pent.4, 2000 MHZ) with win XP.
I´ve loaded down the newest version of FMS alpha 8.1
and bought an new serial interface from J.C. Olsen
(GB)as on the web.side recommended.
But nothing happens.
I´m not able to calibarate the sticks, and the models
dont accept any command.

Can anyone help me ? I don´t know the mistake.

I were very pleased, if you will give me an answer.

What sort of interface is the new tx cord is it usb , serial , ..... if it is serial then that is your problem , win xp does not have support for SR232 ( serial ) protocol in fms

that might help other wize get a usb interface
