keyboard use

Dear Michael, I have downloaded fms into my dell with windows-xp. Can I fly the models with the keyboard only or do I need another type of controler? I can move the nose and other controls but when I try to take it off it runs staight ahead and crashes without leaving the ground no matter what keyboard controls I press.
I have a new futaba sky sport. Where can I get a cable to hook it up?
