I can't really advise the best plane in FMS to match your tariner, although I would hazard a guess that one of the high wing cabin cruiser planes would be a decent match.

As for EXP and INV. The former is short for exponential, this adjusts the way your transmitter affects the planes controls, simply put it makes the controls less sensitive at short lever movements, but doesn't affect the overall throw. The easiest way to test what I mean is to load up something fairly sensitve on aileron control, like the Pitts special, and try flying the plane with exp on and off- you'll soon notice what exponential does!

Inv is very straightforward, it is short for inverse and basically reverses the direction of the control that it is ticked for.

My favourite plane on FMS for docile, but fun flying, is the Silkywind 400.

Carter_b, have a look on my There is a Tiger Trainer 40 on my page that you can try.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

I have the same problem with the runway that you did. I'm going to download your longer runway file and tiger trainer thanks for your help. Great web page! :)

Carter_b you're probably already tried a few out by now, but I can heartily endorse and second Eric's self-recommendation of his Thunder Tiger Trainer .40.

In terms of fidelity, within the limitations imposed by FMS it most accurately replicates the handling characteristics of the majority of generic .40 sized ARF trainers cloned by the likes Hobbytown et al of those I've downloaded and tried. In modelling reality, his Tiger Sport and notably Astro Hog are also highly commendable. Five Stars. Thanks and well done Eric.

Eric Ive downloaded your trainer and i must say Great job man. This is very similar to the plane i ordered and now i can really see how the plane really does almost completely correct itself when you just let go of the controls. Thanks again for the trainer.
