No "Control Adjustments" window!

Postby SrCindy » Sat Aug 17, 2002 2:42 am

I am a new user and printed off the written instructions for setting up FMS. In those instructions, it states in "Interface Instructions" on #4--"In FMS, open the winder "control adjustments". All that happens when I open FMS is the simulator starts and the plane is already rolling for takeoff! I am a RC student pilot and would really like to use this as a tool to help me solo quicker! Not only that but I just paid good money for this and cannot use it! Does it need reloaded or what! Tried that once but it didn't seem to do any good.
I would appreciate any suggestions anyone may have. I am running Windows 98 and using a Hi-Tec Focus 4 Transmitter. I would appreciate receiving them via e-mail to SrCindy@aol.com though in case I don't get to log on to the forum very much. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

FMS is a completely FREE simulator. I guess you "paid good money" for the interface cable and the instructions came with that. If you say which cable you are using and where from we may be able to help (but probably not if you can't be bothered to read the forum).

It sounds like you haven't set up the controls. You do this using the "Controls" menu at the top of the screen.
