i have been having problems with my piccolo model. when it starts it sinks into the ground and crashes over and over again. i do not know what else to do. so anyways the only way to get it in the air is to hand launch it. then when you land it it will sit on top of the ground too much. ???

so i have desided to put the file on here so you all can mess around with it and try and fix it if you like.

just a note: the model takes a long time to load into fms because it is sort of complex but it will load, just be patient.

Hi VMM!

I just tried it and it flies fine for me, so I assume your problem lies in the way you have your Tx set up...
Are you using exp, for example?
Are the trims adjusted correctly?

The only problem *I* had was lack of sound. I don't have the time to find out why at the moment though. (probably a missing file)

my sound is fine

i can only manage a hand launch like u on the first take off or after a crash ??? however it seems fine after a normal landing :p

There is more than ONE version of the Piccolo out there!
I just re-downloaded it (as I thought) it from your link and it is a DIFFERENT version. I will rename it Picollo2 and try it later.
I can't remember where I d/l my version from, unfortunately, but a search should find it ok.

The plot thickens...

OK, VMM

I just tried Piccolo2 (your version) and it is rubbish!
There must be an error in the par file as it will not ustick even at full throttle...
I'll have a look later, when I have more time...
Anyway try and find the other version.
The one I have is 288KB (5 files) and there is no .wav file, hence the silence.
(that was easily fixed, BTW, I just pinched the file from *your* version)
It flies great!

tried both. VMM's is more difficult to control than the other one. i like vmm's for training but dont know which is true as i dont have a piccolo

this is not a very accurate par file. i just stuck a generic one on there so people could try to fix the crashing problem which happends no matter what par i stick with the heli.

can somebody please give me a url to the old one.
