USB Interface for Analog 6CH Transmitter

USB Interface for Analog 6CH Transmitter

Postby Johnboy » Wed Jan 06, 2010 4:56 am

I have a 6 CH computer CX-CT6A Transmitter for a Copter X 450 Helicopter that does not work on the FCM fcm2alpha85 software. I have Windows XP Pro SP3.
I have installed all software and drivers and can configure the 6CH Computer Transmitter Copter X 6X-CT6A on T6config software to program transmitter only I cannot operate the ThreeDee helicopter on FMS.
I have COM Port 5 set up with USB Interface and driver.
I have used the instructions provided with:
Copter X 6 CH 3D Flight USB RC Flight Simulator Cable,
Copter X CX-CT6A Computer Transmitter,
www.helihobby.com/html/fms_manual.html,

The mapping & calibration do not seem to do anything when I try to set up Controls/Analog control/Serial PIC Interface/. I have set the Resources to the 9600 baud and corresponding COMM Port 5. The Blue Channel Bars do not operate like they do with the Computor Transmitter Configurator when I try to calibrate by moving the controls around. Becuase of this I cannot operate the FMS software with my computer transmitter. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

You say you have a USB cable. It will appear as a joystick and needs to be mapped and calibrated in the correct Joystick section, just like it says in it's excellent manual http://www.ky-model.com/copterx/cx-s02_manual.pdf

Thanks Steve,

I Have tried the methods in this manual first only with the same results. This original failure has led me to try alternative ways to make it work.
