I plan on asking some more detailed questions later, but can someone advise whether there are some basic settings I should consider:
I am currently learning to hover my Twister Bell 47 Medevac coaxial heli indoors and am slowly coming to grips with appropriate control usage but I find that in FMS I can simply throttle up and the heli can hover quite simply with no regard for the complexities of real effects. Is there anything I can add in terms of wind/thermal/other to hone my skills when I am not practising on the real heli?
I also notice that it is possible (however difficult) to get the simulation of my coaxial heli to fly inverted with "throttle" down. I would have thought this was not possible for a 4 channel fixed pitch coaxial heli (), but I think the simulator makes no distiction between throttle and collective, no? or have I simply used the wrong mapping for my control and should disable the "pitch" input?
cheers for any comments
Richard
