You did get your controller installed in Windows game controller - selected in the control panel?; and you calibrated the controller there as well?
Ok, in FMS itself, you went to controls and analog control, then joystick interface then mapping/calibration - the controls item is found on the top bar - the controls are then shown in graphic form and must be configured and calibrated there as well.
I'm using Windows XP and being in the USA, I fly with mode 2 transmitter set up, so I use channel 4 for rudder (the first item) then 2 for elevator, then 1 for aileron, and 3 for throttle. Then to configure the helicopter section - the next 4 items - I use the identical configuration as I used for the fixed wing models. Obviously the control surfaces have different names (perhaps German), but the channels are still the same.
I invert - check the inv. box - both elevator and throttle, though that may relate to my usb interface or transmitter and your need to invert any controls could be different, and I use expo. for both elev and aileron - this is purely a personal preference.
Next is to hit the calibrate button at the bottom of the window and calibrate your controls within FMS.
That's it
Enjoy FMS
