Hello,
I am pretty new to forums, and brand new to the rc world. My mother in-law bought me a cheap as can be "abraham 606" helicopter, with two controls, go and spin. I was out looking for parts yesterday and saw the real flight G3 simulator and was sold until I saw the price tag. On a GI's salary; food first, booze second; toys last, and the motorcycle takes precedence over toys I can't ride.
So while checking on the current world crisis, lost GI's and an increasingly lower bank statement, I happened across this on e-bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/4CH-RC-USB-Esky-Fli ... dZViewItem .

Question 1: Is this TR and sim worth the wee bit of cash they are asking for?
Question 2: The cables, that are on e-bay, are they worth it?

Question 3: When I buy this helicopter; http://h1071426.hobbyshopnow.com/produc ... 50&tag=dpp , will the transmitter be compatible with the FMS, ie can it plug in or do I have to spend ..more motorcycle money?
Just looking for answers, opinions, SMA comments ect.

Thanks for the info. I have been thinking about buying the next step up instead of the cheaper blade, just to save that money. We'll see what the tax man says.
I ride a Yamaha 650 classic. Its my first bike and I love it. If congress ever passes a budget that Bush will agree with, I'll pay off the classic and get a bagger. Thanks again for the intel dump. I will definitely keep it in mind.
RC Helo's might be on hold for a bit because when I went to the hobby shop last week the wife saw model trains and wants to give that a shot, we'll see which one wins.

ahaa. well, you didn't mention the wife originally. that puts a different spin on things. you're a lucky guy to have a wife that even tries to share some interest in hobbies with you. my ex never saw eye to eye with any of my hobbies, no matter how much our friends told her to leave them alone. I think they were right ;)

what a coincidence! my first "real" bike was a Yamaha 650 back in 84. my first one was a Suzuki 500 twin which stripped a plug thread and shot the plug into the bottom of the tank during the first week I owned it, so that one didn't stick around very long. I've been a Yamaha man ever since. I bought a Vision later that year and absolutely loved it. to me, the R1 I have now is the ultimate

good luck with the trains. let me know if you have any more questions

In the Mapping pane inside the Mapping/Calibration window:
To reverse a channel: Check the Inv check-box.
To reduce channel sensitivity around the middle point: Check the Exp check-box.
