look in the pilot posistioning thread in the landscape section.
I basically created a panel or a piont for the pilot to stand on
or basically rasied the height. Just reposistion that
panel around to clone the pilot's posistioning..then just raise
the hight as high as you want.
once you set it in the .scn file it'll be set as defualt
everytime you start that scenery.
or reposition yourself on a hill or reposistion yourself to stand on the
tower in my scenery.lol The big tower..oki doki, not the little one.
or get this Free Sim..it's gear more toward gliders. Gliders models
up the waazoo
CRRCSIM..it works in Vista too. It was design for lunix
The second scenery is like you're standing on clift on an ocean front
or slope . You can adjust thermal too. Adjust the launch height
or vilocity..etc. Adjust to skybox in the veiw option to eliminate those
black lines when it first loads. It actaully has moving control surface
too belive it or not. Moving waves too.
it also has transparent like disc ...i guess great training for thermal
pilots in serach of thermal.
No heli thou and not much of a selection for air plane models but you're into gliders. it's actaully pretty good...not perfect but still pretty good
for a free sim. It dosn't have the NON Fix posistion veiw..or I havn't
figure it our yet.
NON FIX camera veiw in FMS is very important to me.
Becuase this will allow the model not to stay fix at the center of the
screen , which truns FMS into a beast .
If you think you've master hovering a heli in FIX posistion..
Try truning off the FIX camera. This simulate it real close
in learnding to hover in the real world. Trun on the wind a bit
and it'll be a challenge and a half to try to keep the model
over the heli pad or a piont. The heli will constanly drift from
the center of the screen.
If you have it on fix..your brain will catch up..the model stays
fix at center...and just rotate, gets bigger or smaller...
while the background just moves around.
It is one of the upgrad from 2.7 to 2.8
a screen shot...not bad.
