Need help

I downloaded the editor, but cant figure it out. All I want to do is take the "world" field that comes with FMS and add low bushes at each end of the runway, maybe some more bushes scattered around near the runway, and locate the pilot half way along the strip.

Would someone be willing to make this for me?

Hallo Larry,

I can manage FMSXYZ more or less, because I am trying to make the panorama Landscape of my airfield for FMS. All of my knowledge is summarized at the topic next to this, as postings of Perry and TreeHugger.

What I can do for You, is the following. I have made a test some minutes ago, and this is working.

First of all I am using Sea_breezeTree instead of Tree because the texture of Tree is on a black background sheets on my PC. Please check it, if it is OK for You I will use this. If not I can use Tree as it is.

Next, it is easy to decrease the size of the tree, and by this way I can easily produce an object which can be considred as a bush. In the test I made a 3:1 transformation.

Any number of this small tree can be located at any place.

The relocation of the pilot can be done.

There are two rules, I will do it for You, but I am saying now because otherwise to use FMSXYZ is not possible.

After saving the product of FMSXYZ using normal text editor like notepad, the SCN file should be modified. The ","-s should be raplaced with "." (dot instead of comma) and the pilote (aircraft) position shouldn't contain dot or comma.

If it is OK for You please tell me. Define the number of bushes at the ends of the runway, and the pilote position. You said at the middle of runway but I assume on the left side, the building can be seen on the other side of the runway.

For me there are two ways of sending the SCN file. I can put on may file server or send it by e-mail. My address is "laszlo.csaba@mail.iif.hu"

Best regards

SORRY,

it is not true, what I said.

The experiment was done using "Tree".
If I replace Tree with Sea-breezeTree, the little trees can not be seen.

What I can make now, nice Sea_breezeTrees and little black bushes.

It is too late now, tomorrow I will try again.

Laszlo,

I figured it out! I just needed to move a few things around and learned how to do it. I also changed the .bmp to look more like my field.

Thank you for offering to help!
