There's a good tutorial at the top of the Models section of this Forum created by NestofDragons.

My Metaseq model is OK:

Postby lcsaba » Sun Nov 12, 2006 10:59 am

Hello Frank,

thanks for helping.
I did the design step by step following the instructions of one of the tutorials. The only difference was that I used my own photo based .bmp file.
The figure on the file was too small, therefore possibly it could be difficult to find the proper coordinates.
Finally I made a .bmp on which the whole surface is covered by the picture.
This works.

Anyway, the problem of my original question stands, what is the situation with ParEdit-8, because the texture of the model at metaseq, and ParEdit- 8 are identical, even if the FMS simulator and the GeoEX presents white surface.
Is it a bug of ParEdit-8 V1.0?

My next step is to design a .par file as it should be therefore I will study the concerning postings, about ParEditor by Masuoka, and forget the other.
For the time being my model which is now a simulated model of my original SkyLady, by RCM Pelicane and made by China is flying with a modified .par file. ((There is a Pelican model Flip 400 int the FMS selection))
The source of the .par file is a New Skylark.
I have replaced the .par file geometrical parameters of the measured ones, but finally I had to increase the par 4. because it was not possible to fly loops meanwhile with SkyLady I can.

Regards,

Laszlo

My first FMS model is flying

Postby lcsaba » Mon Nov 13, 2006 7:19 pm

Hello Frank,

all of Your comments are correct, but I said in my last posting that it works. This meant that I have found the solution and the reason of my previous fault.

My metaseq SkyLady is flying over the FMS landscape.

Regards

Laszlo

p.s. I have followed the instructions of Yosito Sekiai's, and as far as the transparent cocpit cover is concerned nestdragon's tutorial.

Frank,

thanks fitting in my model, BUT in this case the URL is correct.
The problem is the way of fitting it into the message.
If You press the Img button the response is this

Insert image: [img]http://image_url[/img]

I have tried to follow this instruction and inserted the URL into the indicated location, and a lot of other combinations as well, but not the correct one.
BUT you could have done, because the picture is in Your posting.

How can You do this.

Regards

Laszlo

Hi Laszlo,

the server seems to distinguish between small and capital letters.
Your link ends: .jpg
My link ends: .JPG

I found out through trial and error, just curious, I guess...

Frank

Hello Kevin..,

I think everyone see what I see, a box with an red "X" in the middle.
The reason of this, that You could insert a correct URL but the file name at the end is wrong, because capital JPG is necessary.

Our Web server make distinction of small and capital characters.

Please tell me which command sholuld be used and how, because I have tested, checking with Preview, almost all combinations, of command "Img", and "URL" but failed.

Thanks Kevin...

it is OK, the only problem is, that I inserted exactly this URL into my posting some days ago:

Posted: Sun Nov 19, 2006 8:44 pm Post subject:

but for me it was not working.

BUT IF BBCode is not disabled it is working.
