How to add engine sound ?

Copying another model's .wav file and renaming it should work just fine. You may have to reload the model within FMS.

That did work on other planes - but not this Nieuport 17.

The file is located at
Named "Nieuport 17.zip"

Any ideas to get the sound to work would be GREATLY appreciated

Name it exactly like the par file and the x file. The x file, par file, jpg file (sample image) and wav file (engine sound) should all be named the same. Exactly!

Hi Ramon,

try downloading again, the file might have been corrupted.
I did download that same file from the same source and everything is OK: sondfile is present and working.

I found MY mistake.(stupid mistake)

I left out the space between the word Nieuport and 17 in the file name.
'Nieuport17.wav' doesn't work, but 'Nieuport 17.wav' does work.

Man that's embarrassing. I should have caught that.
