Reverse axis not working

I have an interesting question. I have not been able to find an answer to this anywhere on the forum or in any of the tech doc's. I am starting to wonder if I am the only one with this problem.

RF G2 USB controller
XP pro SP2

Problem: I can calibrate the controller and all the axis work fine but some are reversed and when I try to invert it in the calibration/mapping section it does nothing. I tick INV box for the specific axis but it doesn't revese the channel as I would expect it to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Under . . Start > Control Panel > Game Controllers . . insure the G2 controller is at the top. Please post if that does or does not resolve the issue, as others may have some additional suggestions.

Any chance you are trying to control a helicopter (Tail, Nick, Roll, Pitch) with airplane (Rudder, Elevator, Aileron, Throttle) settings?
