Staying runway oriented?

Staying runway oriented?

Postby lajio1 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 11:24 am

Does anyone have advice for how to stay oriented with the runway (to land straight)?? That's the only issue I have with FMS. Other than that, I think it flies pretty realistically.

Thanks in advance.

Throttle back and do a circuit or two at a lower altitude while you get your bearings, then do a proper landing circuit and approach to land.

HI!
To help find the runway pick a spot in the clouds directly in front of the plane on take off I use a < * a brighter v shape with a brighter dot to the right of it fly towards it then do a 180, flys right back to the run way!
once you see this spot in the clouds you will not have as much trouble finding home. Also theres the same formation on each end of the runway so you can take off either way . Hope this helps you
