I purchased a CESNNA 182 electric plane from http://www.parkflyers.com/ It came with a 4 Channel Control, Iam trying to get FMS to work with it , But have run into numerous problems.
For Example.
1. I have no idea what kind of Radio Control i have.
2. I install FMS on my computer which is runing - Windows XP
- Sound Blaster Live Card
and all I get is a high screeching noise. I could run the program , But cannot use the control.
3. I read your forums and downloaded the DLL. files, placed them in the FMS folder and got a window opeartional ERROR. I tried all the DLL files.
4. Iam trying to use my control via the souncard.

Can someone please help me, I will gladly appreciated. If you can contact me or write back. I really want to get this program to work. Thank You

Apparently you try to use SMARTPROPO with an audio input. OK?

Did you take the last version from:


Have also a look at the "troublechecking" chapter of smartpropo.

You could also use the virtual scope on PC thru the audio input, as described in
to ensure that your signal is a PPM signal.

You need only ONE dll, the good one (probably the genuine PPM dll).

Iam almost there....
I have a connection with my control.
BUT... the control is Wacky....Out of wack
Ive tried to calibrate , but the lines in the calibration are all out of wack , cant make them stop moving , I got some control , but not enough. Crash everytime. How can i get this to calibrate right. Im I doing something wrong, or is there something I should know.

If You are using one of the latest SmartPropoPlus versions (2.2.0 or higher) then I guess you have selected PPM+AutoDetect. Try un-checking the AutoDetect and then try both shift options. One will be better than the other.
Get back to us if this does not solve the problem.

Is your signal a PPM signal? You did not tell us!
Did you try:

the PPM 'thermometer'


and the virtual scope (press the right arrow in the menu):




Both softwares work with the same audio cable as smartpropo.

Yes my signal is a PPM signal.
Iam going to unchecked the autodetect .
