Windows 2000 & Beta 7 - Which interfaces work with Win2000?

Hi Kromega,

Doh, silly me! It sounds like you're having problems with FMS's 32-bit VXD driver.

Can't you use the 16-bit DLL driver? That at least allows you to specify the IO address and IRQ for the port.

Anthony.

Hi Deimos,

nobody has a problem with W2k and serial or parallel port, because they are blocked in NT, W2k and XP. ;-)

Neither 32-bit nor 16-bit drivers are available.

I am looking for someone who could enable the ports, so I can test what advers effects might happen when using FMS V. 7 with XP.

If anybody wants help making PIC interfaces for win 2000, I have made some already, and even sold a couple of prototypes to members on this forum. They will be receiving theirs this week some time.
I have circuit boards being printed and the moment and pic chips available, or if you mail me your pic I will program it. The PCB's will probably be a few dollars each (no more than บ at the absolute max).
E-mail me if you have any questions wt@hnpl.net
I will have a homepage with automated credit card ordering set up in the next few days.
