I Have Forgotten How to Set Thsi up

I have found an old JR Max 4 to use as a transmitter. I have it plugged in to the external power supply and have it turned on. I have loaded the newest FMS software and have an adapter that plugs into the game port to the "buddy Box" port. Beyond that I am lost. I am running Windows XP Pro. Any help to set this thing up appreciated.

If it plugs into a genuine game port it should appear as a Joystick so select Joystick in Controls, calibrate then fly.

You may need to calibrate it first in Windows Game Controllers (not sure about this, I've never used a PC with a game port running XP Pro).
