sluggish response - smoothness of movements

To keep things from being sluggish, I have to keep the frames rate above100, is this normal?

As long as your picture does not appear jerky, any framrate will do. I am still using a Pentium II PC, and get only about 30 frames/second. This is no problem at all.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
