useing xp 15 pin controler, its the great planes controler, came with the frist sim they had got it at a yard sale with no # it wont let me boot it up . but i still have the controler

If the controller uses 15 pins, it should install itself as a standard 4-axis joystick under Control Panel/Gaming Options. The controller will not install itself on some Windows versions, so you migh need to go to Control Panel/Gaming Options, and create a 4-axis, four button controller manually.

When you select this new controller's Properties, you should e able to use it as a standard joystick. In FMS, the controller must also be set to joystick.
