Hummingbird V3 FMS Simulator Problems - Cant get FMS to work properly

Hello. This is a new Heli and I am new at Forums..sorry if this is posted somewhere else.. I connect my radio and the calibration seems to respond and work correctly, but I am not sure what channels to choose, etc...no matter how I poick them, my controls work, but they are on the wrong joysticks...please help! Thank you!

I am having issues getting my radio to even calibrate. I just got a Hummingbird v3 100% RTF for Christmas and have been anxious to get the FMS going before I send her off on her real maiden voyage. If anyone has a clue as to why it might not be working please let me know.
