Panoramic sceneries

Hi every body,

Now in FMS you can fly in realistic sceneries, made with a panoramic photo.

I did some of this panoramic sceneries, aiviable on www.rc-sim.de, using a box with pictures applied on it, but I've noticed that it's quite difficult ( it needs a very significant work on the final improvement ) and the scenery is a little deformed.

Aerofly and reflex use a sphere and the panorama is applied on it. It's easier than a squared box because the panorama which is applied is directly made by a picture assembler like PanaVue ImageAssembler. My question is for the FMS programmers : the next version of FMS could it include this mode of landscape with a sphere mapping ?

PS : I don't critic at all the work that the Möller brothers, what they have achieved until now imposes the respect ! :;): It's just a suggestion for a more realistic simulation...
