Hitec xmtr/USB Cable

I have a Laser 6 Hitec xmtr. I see where Hitec advertises an cable specifically for FMS connection via USB. Has this been used and am I safe to assume it will work with FMS? Also, which software version of FMS should I be downloading. I have Windows XP Home Edition on a 1.8 GHZ with 1 GB of RAM and 160 GB Harddrive. Thanks, Pete (new member)

Pete,
I assume that Hitec uses the same USB cable as Multiplex. The latter is designed for Hitec and for Multiplex using an adapter plug.
It works perfectly with FMS. I use it with my MPX 2020 since it is available.
