position locator? - Hard to locate runway line

The simulator is fantastic and has allowed me to try new skills before risking it on a valuable plane. My only problem is when I loose the runway line pretty easily. In the real world, I know the placement of my feet and can always glance at the ground, so I rarely loose the runway line.

Would it be possible to add a locator line at the bottom of the screen that would show alignment with the runway?

I'm envisioning a small bar at the bottom that would go all the way across the screen of aligned. When twisted parallel with the runway, the bar would be half colored, with the colored section pointing towards the runway. If you're twisted all the way around, just a small portion of the bar would be colored.

I'm not sure how much work this would be, but it sure would make locating the runway centerline much easier!
