Hey all, when I load the landscapes that I have downloaded in FMS Beta 7 and 7.5.1 I get a Floating Point error and it locks up FMS. Is there any way to fix this.
I would like to be able to use the other landscapes in FMs like I used to.

is this happening with the default sceanery? it should not, if it is you could try and re-download the program. just go to the FAQ were it tells you how to reinstall. otherwise it is just a problem with the sceanery and unless you know what all of the stuff means in the sceanery text then it would be tough to tell what is wrong.

No most of the sceneray that comes with FMS loads fine. In fact the only ones that load fine are the ones that you can see the little image off when you click on which one you want to open.
I can't name an exact one, I just know that none of the other ones work. They used to work for me, at least when I was running in windows 98. I am now using w2k.

maybe the os is the problem. i would not know because i still have 98 and everything works fine.
the only time i get one of those errors is if i am making my own sceanery and i add a bad object of put in a bad number in the text file. otherwise i have had no problems with other peoples sceanery. ???

well i guess that is the problem.
but i could swere that i have gotten sceanery that was made for beta 6 and it is running in beta 7. mybee not? i will check. why would it not work? what is the difference?
