Installing help - troble instaling FMS landscapes

every time install a landscape(unzip the file into the landscape directory), and try to use it or any other, eveything stops workng and it says there was an error, and then the window just sits completly black. how am i ment to install them. thanks people.

You don't need to "install" any landscape. You don't even need to put the landscape in a "landscape directory". Put it anywhere on your harddisk if you want. Unzipping a landscape should not affect the installation of FMS unless you overwrite some already existing files that are important for FMS.

What I suggest is to put each landscape in a subdirectory. This way you will be sure they don't mess each other up.
