The sceneries for FMS in rc-sim has improper fisheyes,
but the .scn files will give you a master .scn to start.
Use NOTEPAD to open the .scn files.
bascailly all i did was switch out the image files..as i would
do if i want to change the scheme on a model.
The methode is skybox.. a lot of poeple use it
in virtaul cam tour, it's use in gaming straight across
the board.
I don't have the copy rights to the photos. That's why I havn't
uploaded them in rc-sim as a sceneries upload. I imagine if i
e-mail all the aurther and ask for permission, they wouldn't
mind becuase all of the photos are free as downloads. it would
just take time.
If you look in my other thread, there's a way that I've shown
how it's done.
Just go to rc-sim and download the Reflex sceneries , retrieve
the S1 or S2 image files out of them and convert them.
I just google reflex sceneries and came up with other reflex
sceneries that are not listed in rc-sim.
You can send me an e-mail if you want I can e-mail you
my collection of what i have.
I use the sphere to cube convertor..it free and it's also
posted in the other post as a link.
the others photos are from Flickr.com...it's a free photo sharing
site. serch under equirectangular, then click on one of the photos
then on the right hand side...click equirectangualr pool.
I use (gadi's) he loads them in 10000x5000.
generally 4096x2048 or greater should give good enough resolutions.
photo gets added on flickr by the sec. you'll see new onces
everyday.
the photos on flickr are better in many ways becuase photography
is their cup of tea.
seeing a complete equirectangular photo in flickr will give you
a good understand that the reflex's images is incomplete
this is all the sceneries i have..i had to recollect them again
my PC crashed. i still havn't got done coverting most of them.
