elevator and rudder

I am waiting for my interface to arrive but have tried the latest FMS on my computer. My question is this when I use the 8 and 2 keys for elevator all it does is zoom me in and out towards the aircraft?. Also when i use rudder it spins me around the aircraft instead of turning it?. Is this correct or is it a fault with using the keyboard?. I assume it is a fault as many of my club members use FMS and say it is great. ???

It's ok I have found the correct controls but they are the arrow keys on the keyboard?. according to the instructions they should be the 8,2,4 and6 keys, oh well it works for now until I get my interface cable.

The 8,2,4 and 6 keys will work if you turn num-lock off, otherwise, your sending number keys to FMS. Arrow keys work best.
