how do i controll a chopper

i have the version 2 beta 7. I am using a futaba skysports 6 controllor, but when i choose a helicoptor the controllor wont controll it. Anyone know why this is?
Also what is the best version of the simulator i am running windows xp?

have you selected what type of controller you are using, then have you mapped the keys to your liking?

Not sure, i have selected the controllor im using as it works fine when flying a plane, but when i choose a helicoptor nothing works!

Here we go again.....

"If you find that your transmitter/joystick works fine with planes in FMS but you can't control the helicopters check that you have set up the bottom 4 channels on the LH side of the Mapping/Calibration screen. It's those bottom 4 settings that control the helis and lots of people seem to miss them at first."
