Like I said I am new. My working days are over and I want to fly now. I am flying the simulator a lot and am learning on a cub. When warm weather hits I will have 4 high wings to start with for training and I have a AirField 800mm (31.5") Electric Spitfire RC Warbird coming for when I get ready to fly that type of an airplane. (I went crazy with buying planes!!)So my question. I have come a long ways on the simulator. I am flying a J3 Cub and my first flight was about 2 seconds to where I am now I can fly it pretty good and am working on my landings. So if I get it perfected on the simulator does that carry over to the real thing and I will be able to fly the real planes OK. Tell me what you experienced pilots think. I have no one in my town that flys. My son can fly but he lives 4 hours away and we can't get together a lot. I have told him I want him here when I first fly but again just wondered if I get good on the simulator if that carries over to the real thing.
Thanks in advance for your help. I am very excited about my new hobby. I am glad I have you pilots on this board to come to.
