As FMS developers once mentioned, it's written in Delphi and uses DirectX API. Mac lacs both of these (don't tell me about CodeWarrior's Pascal--it's a piece of crap!).
Even if FMS were to be rewrittem in C++, it would be probably impossible to write a good DerectX port for Mac.
And in general, Mac suks (just kidding).

if windows is so good, then why did microsoft make its new windows XP almost like mac OSX. Windows is a complete look-alike. the classic mac os, if you bothered to use it, is much more simpler and easier to use. OSX is unix based and is much more powerful and (better) than any windows.

phreak,
Haven't you noticed "just kidding" part (for some reason, all Mac fans get offended too easily)?

I like OSX, it's a normal Unix port and I like it (I was misfortunate to develop code in OS8 once).
Unfortunately, there are no native to X development environments yet. CodeWarrior, which is the only commercial IDE for Mac, runs in OS9 compatibility box (or whatever it's called in OSX) and generate OS9 code.

No offence to Mac implied.

Question: Where is metasequoia for MAC & Linux?
Answer: It dosn't exist, and not exist forever, sorry.
Please use Windows (Yosito Sekiai, Japan).

This is the answer from a really qualified programmer (as you can see when using his ultimate (and free) 3D-CAD-program named Metasequoia (LE R2.1) to create your own models - just download from www.interq.or.jp/japan/cyber/fms/Metasequoia_e.htm).

I think it is the only wise answer which one can give to any freak still looking for other operating systems besides Windows.

I am not a friend of Bill Gates, too, but with Windows we finally have a quite good worldwide standard which is much more worth than lots of other platforms (even if they would be somewhat better) but each of them needing its own special software. With only one platform progress is more effective and faster.

Regards
