Error Checking of .MDL Files

Sometimes I have self created models that generate an error message and result in a lock-up of FMS. The problem seems to come from the Flight Parameters. Is there a parameter checking routine built into FMS? If so what are the limits?

The parameters aren't checked by the fms, you can write everything that won't lock the fms. Try to "edit your file back" to some model that worked. Then do only change one or two parameters at once.
