Parkzone F-27 stryker sim - interface problem

This sim of the f-27 is a great sim,but for some reason I can not find a gamepad or joystick to work with it.
I am running win98 and the gamepad is a logitech wingman /with a single analog joystick.
All other FMS sims run fine.
I have calibrated the joystick, but when you run the sim only have up and down no right or left.
I have gone though all of the setup on this and i am lost.
Does anyone have any ideas??

You'll probably need to edit your copy of the Stryker8 .par file. It has aileron and elevator control. With a single joystick you only have 2 channels and maybe throttle. You need to change the .par file to use channel 1 instead of channel 3 for turning.

Or if you like, change the control that moves left and right during calibration to ailerons.
