I did a basic Heli mode setup and havent built my ECO 8 just yet.
I got the latest FMS and a serial interface cable from Matt Clement on Ebay. $15.
I cant get the FMS to recognize the remote. I tried all COM settings and variables, flow control, IRQs, advance settings in FMS, etc. and cant get any calibrations whatsoever. I'm running WINME on P3 550. My only conclusion is that maybe I need a parallel cable instead and that there may be a special setup for serial cables with the Hitec Eclipse?
I just dropped the cable in the mail for exchange for the parallel version and will try that when it gets in.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
