I have windows xp sp2
Directx 9c
AMD 1.2 Athalon
Nvidia Geforce4 TI 4800SE 128mb
FMS 2.0
I think direct3d is the problim .
I can not see the plane in FMS the program starts fine and seems to work fine other then that.
I can see the prop and canopy on the plane but nothing else. The screen is all white also.
I have tried the DX diagnose and in the first part it uses DX7 and i see nothing there also but i do see the spinning box in the DX 8-9 tests.
I have the latest Nvidia drivers also.66.93
I have tried everything i can think of.
ANY IDEAS what the problim is?

I've noticed this sometimes in the alpha 8.5 version. It seems to clear up when I go to the resolution menu and switch to a specified resolution (1024x768, for example.) If I go back to 'window' later, it draws cleanly after that. Maybe an init problem?

I have tried your suggestion also.
I also have Real flight G1 and it will not work in Direct 3D HAL but will work in RGB Mode.
Im now at a total loss on what to do:(

do you have the latest drivers for the agp-port of your mainboard? Somtimes the original Windows drivers for the mainboard are not 100% compatible with the hardware.

I have the latest VIA 4in1 Drivers from asus and the cpu to agp driver is now at verson 5.1.0.3441
Also my main board is a A7V133.
everything was working great and at some unknown point it stopped working.
I dont really play games so i did not notice the problim till i tried FMS.
I do see that the pci bus for the cpu to agp contoller is 0 and the pci bus for the display adapter is pci bus 1

I have found that if i turn off hardware acceleration i can see the plane and everything. BUT the sim runs real slow 2fps. With hardware aceleration it is all messed up.
I have downloaded 3d Mark and it works great so this must be a software problim but what?
