control throws - i need the controls to be more responsiv

i am running version 2 beta seven with Gamebird on a windows ME joystick interface. The response of the airplanes including aerobatic models that in real life roll like a flash is very sluggish. Can i increase the control throws??? How??? ???

Edit the .par file with Windows NotePad to increase the angle of rotation for the ailerons Damax. The larger the number the more rolls per second. Too high a number and the model simulation will fail.

If you have exponential turned on, you may want to turn it off, that'll help too but make it a bit more twitchy.
