First of all, this simulator is fantastic! I can't believe how far it's come since I first tried it out some time ago. Great job! :-)

Is there a way to adjust the trim when using a joystick interface. I don't have a serial interface for my RC radio and would like to simply fly with a joystick.

Trim is usually an ajustment on the joystick itself.

Most flight simulators have a function where you can trim the elevator, ailerons and rudder, usually with the keyboard. I was just hoping that this was implemented in FMS, since I dont have an adapter to fly with my radio.

Since the adapters are ำ to ๥ and my radio is a really cheap one, I would prefer to fly with the joystick. Without trim functions, it makes it less enjoyable.

Adapters can be as cheep as ŭ.00

What operating system and radio are you using?

I'm using Win98 (not SE).
I would be interested in an adapter at that kind of price! Are you referring to a ready-built one? :-)

The parallel interface uses 1 transistor and 2 resistors and a D-25 pin connector. All parts at your local Radio Shack store.

People sell them ready made for ฤ.00 or less.

(of labor and running to the store for parts)

Thanks for responding John. Can you direct me to somewhere that has these for sale at this kind of price? I went through the links page and didn't find any available for less than ำ plus shipping.

Maybe I'm asking for too much, but I'd sooner put that ำ into new parts or a new radio than a controler for the PC when I already have a joystick.
