I cant fly a helicopter properly

i have a problem that if I move throttle up it goes up as normal however when i go to move forward it leans forward and if I let go it suddenly move back really fast and out of control. how do I move forward using a smooth motion. Im using a 4 channel controller supplied with the lama v4
