how do i use this simulator?

Postby tpayette » Tue Mar 25, 2008 9:43 pm

I recently purchased a esky honeybee helicopter. it came with a simulator cable and installation disk. Where can i find information on how to use a simulator. I plugged it in like it says and installed the program but then it drops all instructions and says to refer to their website. I went to their website and it does not give any information on how to set it up. can anyone help me?

Im going to make a couple assumptions, so bear with me.

1st, your Esky came with a simulator cable: I assume one end of this plugs into the trainer port on your transmitter. The other end is either going to be a sound card input plug (Stereo or mono headset jack, plugs into the line in on your sound card) or a USB port plug.

The sound card plug requires extra software, i can only assume it came with the disk. However, if you search this site or Google Smart Propo Plus you will find it.

I do not have the USB interface, and its been way too long since I installed this so I haven't a clue.

Note: I see that this post is quite old, I certainly hope someone got this person set up...

Futaba hookup

Postby Hangarrat » Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:50 am

I finally got the necessary soldering to a connector done last night, and hooked it up to my computer.. Brought up the PPM theremometer and it showed all 4 channels working..
Then, I downloaded the SmartPropo program and that's where I'm at... How do I get this to work with the FMS program?

If I did something wrong with the Futaba tx, can I use my JR tx with a buddy box connector, or the new Spectrum (CX2 Heli) which also has a buddy box connector..
