Helicopter control with Beta 7

Using Beta 6 joy stick and Tx to Pc would control helicopters. Using Beta 7 joy stick and Tx to pc will not control helicopters. Otherwise Beta 7 works well and is a great improvement Anyone else having this problem? I have tried downloading Beta 7 several times with the same results. I downloaded Beta 6 and I can control. Help, I would much rather use Beta 7 but I like to fly helicopters. RichD

i had the same problem until i discovered in the mapping
calibration window instead of assigning the appropriate
channels to elevator aileron etc you need to assign them
to nick, pitch,roll,tail and throttle i am using a jr tx with the following setup nick 2 pitch 3 roll 1 tail 4 throttle 3
note that pitch and throttle are both assigned ch 3 because they are on the same stick , hope this is of some help .

Bob - Thanks for the information. I tried it and everything works great. You saved a lot of frustration and hair pulling. I had downloaded Beta 6 again to check my setup and it was ok. Now I'm back on Beta 7. Thanks again! RichD
