I'm trying to use the trainer port of the JR3810 together with the parallel interface of FMS
The interface is working pefectly with a Futaba FF8.
Has somebody got any experience with this?

Hi wvr,
A lot of the JR transmitters have "floating" or capacitively-coupled trainer outputs which causes some difficulty for the majority of the circuits kicking around.
Steve Lewin was kind enough to put his serial interface for these types of JR's on the web and I have used it successfully. You could probably modify it to work on a parallel port if you need to. Try it out if you're still having problems:
